Today we had the opportunity to follow some classes. In the morning me, Kimmo, Mia and Minna were following a biology class. In the class there were about twenty students, aged between 16-19. That is actually a big difference compared to Finland that the age of the students can differ so much inside one class.The length of the class is 45 minutes. Students can have even eight classes per day which can make the days very long.
The theme of the class was plant and animal cells. Students were doing some exercises (apps) that the teacher had prepared earlier. Most of the students were using their own devices but also school provided some iPads if needed. The apps can be found from www.learningapps.org.
